First Look at iPhone 16 Color Options and Camera Upgrades
Today, we got a sneak peek at new color options and camera upgrades for the iPhone 16. Both models will feature an improved battery capacity.
Difference Between iPhone 15 and 16
The standard iPhone 16 will have a 3561 mAh battery, the 16 Plus will have a 4006 mAh battery, the 16 Pro will have a 3,355 mAh battery, and the 16 Pro Max will have a 4,676 mAh battery. This also aligns with the previous battery capacity leaks.
iPhone 16 Pro Models to Feature Base Storage
We will see 256 GB as the base model for the iPhone 16 Pro instead of the previous 128GB. But again, it comes from a sketchy source. It’s not guaranteed, but given the pro-Max, it had a 256 gig base model last year. It could be the next likely step now that we’ve got another tweet from Majin Bu showcasing more dummy models of the iPhone 16 lineup. They are just dummy models, but they give us a good idea of what it will look like.
iPhone 16 Body-color
The iPhone 16 Pro Models will be available in black, white, gray, and a new rose color. The will rose color is more orangey gold than pink. We’ve had it in the past. I’ve created these renders here to give you a good idea of what they will look like. There is plenty of choice when it comes to the colors next up. We’ve also heard that the iPhone 16 Plus will be available in seven colors: blue, pink, yellow, green, black, white, and purple.
iPhone 16 bezel screen and camera
We’ve got the news that the iPhone 16 will feature even thinner bezels this time, which is more compact and efficient in enabling slimmer bezels without compromising performance. We’re to see something around 2,600 nits of peak brightness in the display. Next up, we’ve got great news: the iPhone 16 will finally address the issue that’s plagued iPhone photography for quite a long time. Apple is introducing a new atomic layer deposition to the iPhone camera lens manufacturing process. Put in simple terms, it’s an anti-reflective coating. IPhones have long suffered from lens flare in photos and videos more so than their competitors, so an improvement to the anti-reflective coating will round off an already excellent camera system. iPhone 16 looks like a good upgrade in hardware, along with some changes to the design, such as a better display and better cameras in the latest chipset. It’s no doubt going to be a great performing phone now. We also had news that the iPhone 16 will increase the RAM to support the new on-device AI. While we don’t know how much it is at the moment. It’s likely going to be 12 gigs of RAM.
For those excited about the iPhone 16 pricing, we will run through the full specs design and the expected pricing for each model in the range.

It comes with 8 GB (gigabyte) of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage, and it’s powered up by a 4,5100 mah battery with the 16 Pro. We are still determining how fast charging works, but we expect some improvements. Now it comes with the advanced 5G Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 7, and it will, of course, ship with iOS 18, and this one’s expected to launch around $1,300 on September 24.
Conclusion
So, overall, the iPhone 16 looks like the same iPhone. We’ve been seeing for a long time, apart from a few changes in design, like the new camera module on the non-pros an extra button, and a more polished frame now, Apple is continuing with the same approach and focusing on hardware and software to give the best user experience possible. AI is, of course, playing a massive role in all aspects of tech at the moment. Apple is working to include as many AI features as possible, and thanks to the power of their chipset, they’re focusing on devices. AI rather than server-based now, iOS 18 will be one of the most significant changes to iOS that we’ve seen in a while. I’m excited to see what they deliver. Of course, given the similarities to its predecessor, I can’t imagine anyone with an iPhone 15 rushing for an upgrade, but for anyone with an older iPhone or looking to get their first iPhone. It’s definitely going to be an excellent choice. The launch is still quite far away.
